Welcome Lee

picture of LeeWe would like to welcome Lee to the Deafblind Services Society family! Lee resides in Ladner, BC with her mother, Pat, her father, Bill, her sister, Ariis and her dog, Toby. Since her Graduation this past June, Lee has welcomed Kristin Pierce into her life as her Intervenor. Both Lee and Kristin have been very busy this summer. We are often hearing about their yummy baking products, artwork, and sailing adventures. Lee is also a PowerPoint whiz and preserves her memories in PowerPoint slideshows.

Lee is involved in many community programs. She is a member of the Wheelchair Dance Academy and over the years has had the opportunity to perform for the Tour de Delta, BC Special Olympics and more recently, she performed for three separate events during the Vancouver 2010 Olympics! Lee is also a member of the Independent Gardener’s Gardening Club, which allows her to participate in workshops throughout the year and ‘prune’ her already ‘green thumb’.  As an entrepreneur, Lee sells her beautifully created gift cards, which allow her to share her appreciation and skill for watercolour, acrylic and oil painting. Lee also plans to try her hand at photography. We cannot wait to see what creations will transpire. We look forward to hearing about Lee and Kristin’s many adventures and experiences in the years to come.
