The Deafblind Services Society of B.C. was established in 1986 by families determined to find essential services for their Deafblind children. Today we provide intervention services throughout B.C. to adults who were born Deafblind, or who acquired Deafblindness later in life. An Intervenor is a trained specialist able to communicate with, and act as the eyes, ears and voice of the Deafblind person.
