Special Events planned for Deafblind Awareness Week June 21-27

Each year, events and celebrations take place across the country to mark the birthday of Helen Keller, and to bring awareness to the daily lives and victories of others in our community living with deafblindness.

This year Deafblind Services Society will run a public relations campaign throughout B.C. with posters, newspaper ads, and radio spots, based on the theme “STOP. LOOK. LISTEN. LUCKY YOU.” This campaign, designed and donated by Cameron Cronin, provides a simple message designed to help raise awareness.
